more cute cucakes

So we decided to rent the movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs and to go along with it we decided to serve these cute cupcakes. Super Super easy and fun. The meatballs were Hazelnut chocolates covered in jam! The noodles were just frosting put on randomly. Pretty cool uh? Mike thought they were sick. He said there is no way that is sweet. He was throughly impressed. I love this book!!

So i got this really cool book from my mom for an early birthday present and it is called Hello, Cupcake! It is sooooo awesome. This cupcake idea was in the book. I only used a ziploc bag for the decorating!! Pretty cool I think!! Thanks mom. Speaking of my mom, I surprised my parents by flying up to Washington with Kairi for their 30th wedding anniversary. Then to surprise them some more I had already put together a suprise open house for them. So I took them to that. I had made a cake and it was fun. I had lots of people help me by geting things done in washington while I was still here. Thanks to all!! My parents had fun and it was wonderful to do that for my parents.

This was their 30th anniversary cake. This is what i was planing for them and my mom requested this from my Aunt to make this. Needless to say they were happy with the cake. And there was a good turn out as well.

McKennna's 7th birthday

So for Mckenna's 7th birthday we suprised her with a free ticket to disneyland. She opened her "present" on Christmas and we left early(4:30am) to drive to Disneyland. We got there and the kids had a blast. It was kinda cold but they had fun for their first visit there. Theron had ears but he did not want to wear it. That is ok. She had donald duck come up to her and kiss her hand! She had Goofy call her on the phone and say happy birthday. She went on her first roller coaster and didn't like it. She had a special story read to her in tomarrow land. She got to pull a cannon and make a pretend hole in the wall. And she was a contestant on a game show (that she did not win) We had lots and lots of fun and can't wait to go again.

My little baby!!

So about a month ago i convinced my hubby (who does not like dogs) to get a miniture dachsand(don't know how to spell). She is my little baby. Her name is Minnie mouse (because she is miniture and she is mostly black.) Dad says he doesn't like her but her really does. He even bought her a little dress for her to wear. The cat and dog get along really well and play fight all the time. The kids of course adore her as well. Any ways her is some pictures of her. (She is not dead in the last picture she is dead asleep)

Static Electricity

Lets just say don't we all just love Nevada's static electricity in the air? This is what happens when girl meets couch.

So then there was Halloween!! Kairi is a fairy princess ballarina girl. I made the tutu and the wings were from the dollar store. Got to love cheap costumes! Theron's costume was Mikes old costume that Bettye made for him. We made Theron wear as a surprise to Grandma Hull since she was in town visiting. McKenna wanted to be a bubble bath. So she is the cutest bubble bath we have ever seen. I went as a mummy. Once a mummy always a mummy. Mike went as a High School Counselor. (HeHeHeHe) He was walking around helping the kids.

Therons Birthday

We celebrated Theron's birthday on Halloween cause that was the only day that dad would be home. So obviously we had a spiderman birthday themed party. I made the cake and good news the kids recognized the character. We made a spiderweb with rope and we played "spiderman says..." Grandma and Grandpa Hull along with dad helped decorate and get ready for the party. Thanks!!

Pumpkin pictures

I know it is late!! So since i can blog i am trying to catch up. The monday before Halloween we TRIED to carve pumpkins for family home evening. McKenna refused to touch the pumpkins insides and therfore teaching the other 2 not to touch the slimy orange insides.

Painting our first wall

So here we are making our one of our first home improvments. All of our house is all painted a light cream color with a little darker doors and door frames. But we decided our bedroom (1st) needed some color. Mike had gotten some free paint from Glidden online so we decieded to run with it. I was really scared to paint that color cause it is sooooo dark but now i love it after 3 coats of paint on it. It is called cranberry zing. But we don't have a picture yet on our computer of the third coat. It was fun. Mike did most of the work (the 2nd and 3rd coats) The kids wanted to help but we didn't want to have "red" paint everywhere on our carpet. We did have a plastic sheet down but we didn't want to chance it. We were really carfull!!

Don't we all just love Fall. I always Fall for my kids. I love the smell of the leaves changing colors and the crispness in the air. Of course mike calls it dead rotting leaves. Either way I love it! The weather is perfect and i get to make PIES and pumpkin cookies!! I love it. Man I could list so much more. I love thanksgiving, school starting, birthdays seem to be plenty this time of year for my original family. I just really enjoy when there is change of seasons in the air!

House pictures

Yessssss! We did it! We finally have bought our first house. Of course we got an AMAZING deal and most inportantly we felt that it was right. It is brand new never been lived in and was built in 2007. It has 2028 square feet with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is a huge upgrade from living in apartments that were averge 900 square feet our entire marriage. I love my new home!! And as you can see the kids are really happy that they have lots of space to run around.

Sorry!!

So sorry that I have not bloged in a long time, no internet and busy makes it very hard. But good news we will be buying a house and we will have internet there and therfore will be able to blog better and more often. Look for updates soon about our vacation, house, kids, and life soon.

Preschool Class Pictures

Theron is in Pre-school this year and is loving it. Mommy is too!! Well I didn't "Love" teaching but lets just say it was a "teaching" moment. This is the whole class picture. Unfortunately there is only one girl. But maybe she doesn't mind too much.

Dairy Farm

In pre-school we took a field trip to the very stinky dairy farm. We had to hold onto the kid's hand in order to see the cows. They normally don't let tours go through but Shelley used her charm. We got to see them milking the cows and we were even lucky to see some new born calves. They said they were probably born that morning or so. Theron got to hold on to some food that they feed them. (Random FYI they have bakery in their mix and other things obviously.)

Chuck E Cheese

During Christmas vacation, we took a mini vacation to Vegas...and met up with some good friends who were also visiting vegas. We went to lunch at a amazing resturant called Cafe' Rio. Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for our kids first time. The kids were so excited and had a ton of fun. You can see from Theron and Briley's picture that he is jumping for joy! Kairi was even good for the time we were there. And you can imagine Mike had a ton of fun "helping" the kids use there tokens.

Girls day minus baby

My husband sacrificed big time for me. He was allowing me to get away from the nursing baby to go to see Twilight. So why not make it a girls day out?!! I choose to ride in with Amber and we went to lunch (the waiter liked talking to us) and then movie (no we did not hold hands). My husband now can watch baby, woohoo!!!
